First STAC day
So today was my first glimpse at what could possibly be the next four years of my life. Being both nevrous and a some points confused, STAC didnt leave the greatest impression on me. But i was already pretty much acustomed to confusing and nevrous situations after having everyone of my classes moved and having to introduce myself to new teachers. Anyway today in STAC we talked about a book called From Bahous to our House. Yesterday night i had actually started to read it, if listening to the audiobook counts as reading. The book itself was really interesting, but the narator's monotone voice was unbarable. I only made it to about the third chapter before i decided to watch the Food Network instead, but from what i had understood the book really made me look at modern acritecture and understand how that came to be. I really thought how fasinating it was how really socialism basically sparked the whole "glass box" architeture we now see today, and how Americans hate socialism and yet on every street in the city you have the modern architecture.

Hi hi.
ReplyDeleteYou are in for totally different impressions this whole week. Relax, try to have fun.
Warm regards,
Luke
I know you might hear this a lot but you just got to put on a face of bold optimism and go on. Everything new is scary and I know myself felt extremely nervous and self conscious during my time of newbie-ness last year. Just throw yourself out there and you'll fall into the right place. You'll learn soon enough why STAC is STAC.
ReplyDeleteWelcome, to your new view of life.
